The weather’s worsening and the wind is increasing and the prospect of flying our radio controlled aeroplanes outside is becoming less and less attractive. What are our choices?
We can brave the elements and continue our flying, and there will be days when this is still a good option.
We can invest the extra time indoors to practice our radio controlled aeroplane building skills. This is a really good alternative and will give us lots of warm pleasure in Winter and hopefully a selection of planes for the coming Spring !

The basic layout or "chain of command" of radio controlled aeroplanes is: You -> The Controller -> The Transmitter -> The Channels ->The Receiver (+ The Battery) -> The Servo -> The ESC -> The Engine/Motor -> The Propeller (+ The Fuselage The Wings and Tail)
I won't insult anyone by saying that's all there is to it, but maybe it's a basis for "further study"...
